Cozy Urban Hideaway w/ Free Parking, Arts District

See you again soon! Positive: This is my second stay at Hotel Luz, and I still feel like this is the best value in San Juan. I’ve been coming down here for over a decade and have stayed at a lot of short-term rentals. You can really tell that the staff here wanted to create something special at a really affordable price point. The hotel is a really short walking distance from some great restaurants, coffee shops, art spaces, etc. 5 minute Uber to the beach. I’ll be back. Shoutout to Sofia for the flexible check-in!

Positive: Un lugar para quedarte una o dos noches es pequeño pero cómodo. Negative: No le gustó mucho el lugar en el que está localizado

Staff was very nice! The room was extremely small! But it was good for a place to sleep! My favorite was the bathroom. There is a great restaurant within walking distance and I had a blast overall!

The staff at Hotel Luz were great at communication over WhatsApp, voice, and in person. I had one issue with my room and the person at the front desk addressed it immediately. I did not feel that the area was loud, but it is worth noting that the room door rattles any time a guest comes into the hotel, it is as if the room was in a vacuum due to the absence of windows. The room has a glass sheet. If you are looking for a place to crash/sleep, this is it. It is a small room and may not be for everyone. Hotel parking is tight but safe and affordable.

El hotel es espectacular, Les recomiendo muchisimo estar aca, las habitaciones son supremamente limpias y comodas, mas grandes de lo que se ven en imagenes!! Es muy cerca a muchas partes en carro y el barrio se ve bien
