Vibrant Walkable Stay w/ Free Parking | San Juan

This is worse than a hostel. Positive: Nothing! Negative: This was the only disappointing experience of our entire trip. The reviews honestly felt misleading, as our stay was very different from what we expected. We stayed here as a couple and were given a very small room with a full bed that felt more suitable for one person. The bathroom was also extremely compact, making it difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. Although the room looked nice in photos, the actual space was much smaller than it appeared online. The room also had a constant unpleasant smell, likely because it was so compact with very little ventilation. There were mosquitoes inside the room as well, which made it even more uncomfortable. There was barely any space to move around, and no proper place to sit. After coming back from the beach, we didn’t even have a chair or couch to sit on and there was no way we were going to sit on the bed in outside clothes. It became extremely frustrating for two people to share such a tight space. We found ourselves avoiding the room as much as possible and only going back to sleep at night. Housekeeping was not included. We were told there was a $20 charge just to refresh the room. Even though they had charged 35$ for cleaning already. During our three-night stay, the sheets and blankets were not changed, and the floors were not cleaned. After coming back from the beach, the room became sandy and dirty, and the additional cleaning charge felt unreasonable. The location was convenient and close to tourist areas, but the neighborhood did not feel safe at night. Basic amenities like glass cups or coffee mugs were also not available. Overall, the experience felt more like a hostel than a hotel and honestly, I’ve had better service and comfort at hostels. For the price, it was not worth it at all. This was the only bad part of our trip, and I would not recommend this place to others

Perfect last minute booking. Positive: This is centrally located with some parking spaces. A quick Uber ride from Isla Verde, El Coliseo, Plaza Las Americas, and Viejo San Juan. Negative: The room floor was dirty

Nice little cozy place to stay and a great price! Walking distance to Old San Juan but far enough away to avoid the crowds and traffic. Everything done by phone payment key codes etc. so it was really convenient. If you need a place to stay for a few days this is a great choice.
